Fall 2009

Except for a workshop I took in August, I've taken the summer off from classes at the CCAC. It's a really O-L-D building and the air conditioning is asthmatic at best. Add to that the heat from the enameling kilns and butane torches and the sculpting studio that likes to keep the door open...and, you've got a place that I don't want to be in the heat of the summer. Bleah.

SOLD. Marble Petal Ring. The inspiration for this piece came from going through menopause and feeling like I'm losing my marbles. I thought if I made a ring, that I would always know where my marbles were. So far that hasn't helped. 
[PS My instructor purchased this ring. I was shocked and honored]

SOLD. Sterling Silver Hand Stamped Earrings. I like to make these in different styles because they're fast, easy and I can sell them at a price in the CAC gift shop that people can afford.
